  • How do I become a guest?
    We are honored that you'd like to become a guest at The Studio! All of our artists are taking new appointments. You can book by emailing us at thestudiooxfordms@gmail.com or by calling 662.371.1229. You may also message us on Instagram or Facebook to schedule.
  • How do I find which stylist is best for me?
    We recommend first following our Instagram page @thestudiooxfordms (link to IG page) and seeing if anyone’s work jumps out at you! All our stylists have graduated from cosmetology school and been through an extensive apprenticeship to ensure they have the skills necessary to provide excellent salon service and experience for all clients.
  • How do I book an appointment?
    Our preferred way of booking is by phone at 662.371.1229. You may also email at thestudiooxfordms@gmail.com or contact us on Instagram or Facebook.
  • How do I contact/call the salon?
    You can call the salon at 662.371.1229 for the fastest response to any general questions you may have. We are open Monday-Friday 10-6. Also, you can always send us an e-mail to thestudiooxfordms@gmail.com.
  • How do I cancel my appointment?
    Please contact the salon directly at 662.371.1229 to cancel. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice to keep from being charged a late cancellation fee.
  • Where are you located?
    We are located at 1417 University Avenue. We are in between Express Care and The Edison and directly across the street from Solo Apartments.
  • What if I don’t like my hair?
    Your artist wants nothing more than for you to love your hair! Please contact the salon within 48 hours of your service so we can come up with a solution. Every artist wants to make you happy and ensure you have the hair of your dreams.
  • What if I want to try a different artist?
    We can guarantee that no artist will be offended if you want to try somebody new inside the salon. We are a very laid back salon and have no drama or bitterness between the artists. We all have our specialties and favorite services to perform. It is not uncommon for guests to try other artists in the salon if it doesn’t feel like a good match. We take no offense and are more concerned about helping you achieve the hair of your dreams!
  • I am a member of the LGBTQ community, can I feel safe here?
    Absolutely. Our salon requires gender neutral pricing, we have all gender restrooms and love when members of the LGBTQ+ community come in! If you would like to clarify your pronouns with us we would love that! Members of our leadership team have undergone extensive training in creating a safe space.
